Our Story
A small fleet that acts like a big carrier — without the call center
North East Express LLC has been running interstate freight out of St Paul, Minnesota since 2012. We started with one truck and a simple idea: do exactly what you said you'd do, in the timeframe you said you'd do it, and the freight keeps coming.
Today we haul full truckload, refrigerated and expedited freight across the lower 48 — roughly 694,000 miles in 2024 alone — for manufacturers, food producers, distributors and the brokers who trust us with their customers' freight.
We're deliberately not the biggest carrier in the Twin Cities. Staying tight means the person who quotes your load is the person who dispatches it, and the driver hauling it isn't a stranger to us. When something goes sideways at 2 a.m. — weather, a receiver that won't unload, a breakdown — you get a straight answer, not a case number.
